We are looking for a Software Developer to our R&D team in Linköping

Configura is headquartered in Linköping (Sweden) with with five wholly-owned subsidiaries in Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA), Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Berlin (Germany), and Tokyo (Japan). Configura works with parametric configuration. We develop rules-based software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, kitchen and material handling industries. In the background, prices and configurations are automatically calculated.

As a Software developer, you will be working in close collaboration with teams from all our offices in Europe, Asia and USA. You will contribute towards improvements in user experience by efficiently develop both code and process. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing state-of-the-art techniques and developing software. Thanks to our unique CET Developer Platform, overhead time is kept to a minimum. You will receive immediate feedback on your changes and you will spend less time on waiting on compiling and more on fun.

As a Software Developer at Configura, you’ll get to:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience

• At least 1 year experience and strong skills in languages such as Java, C# and C++.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest solutions

• Experience in agile development processes and experience with structuring code for larger projects are beneficial.
