Job description

At Configura, our Account Executives have the responsibility to both manage relationships with current customers while also building connections with prospects to secure and welcome new customers to the ecosystem. Equal parts hunter and relationship manager, the Account Executive is a critical contributor in meeting Configura goals and ensuring customers understand and obtain maximum value in their partnership.

We believe you are an expert collaborator with an engaging executive presence, building strong relationships internally and externally to ensure customers and prospects are successful in our Configura ecosystem. To be successful a Senior Account Executive, you will be a master at identifying and proposing ways customers can maximize their relationship with Configura. You are comfortable presenting those solutions to a wide audience with various levels of technical expertise…You know how to coach and guide customers through buying decisions and have a proven record on closing sales of varying scale and size. You make the complex simple, the value clear and the relationship mutually beneficial.



WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Generate sales with both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Efficiently manage a portfolio of customer accounts that vary in size and complexity.
  • Identify and articulate pain in the customer’s sales processes that position Configura’s suite of products in a positive light for implementation
  • Articulate ROI alongside the customer aligned with a strong value proposition to secure additional revenue.
  • Execute retention-driven behaviors that ensure longevity of existing customers.
  • Forecast and track customer account metrics to actively identify trends and opportunities.
  • Secure large and enterprise-level sales with new & exiting customers.
  • Represent Configura at industry events to positively engage with the community.
  • Proactively monitor and respond to subsets of our industries’ ecosystems.
  • Support campaign initiatives with a cross-functional team to target specific sales objectives.
  • Craft multi-year strategic plans alongside the customer that uniquely match their business needs.
  • Expand & engage with a network of decision-makers at new & existing accounts.


Job requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Tech Savvy- You have Seven or more years of experience selling/consulting within the custom software development space at the enterprise level and understand the interconnectivity of software systems.
  • Proactive Relationship Builder- You have Seven or more years of experience in a customer relationship management role
  • Industry Expert- You have experience and a deep understanding of the Material Handling industry
  • Expert Communicator- You know the importance of customizing your message and approach based on audience and are comfortable engaging with all levels through your customers organization
  • Supportive Mentor- You have experience supporting and investing in team members who are earlier on in their careers
  • Curious Learner- You question how and why things are done with a focus on continued innovation
  • Creative Problem Solver- You love to white-board an issue and identify the best possible solution moving forward
  • Flexible Team Player- You understand situations and priorities shift and do so to better serve your customers, colleagues and Configura
